1. Depth Filters

Kumar's continuous wound and pleated cartridges are suitable for depth filtration of a wide variety of industrial fluids. The materials of construction include cotton, nylon, viscose polyester, fibreglass and polypropylene.

Features of Pleated Cartridges

  • Extremely larger filtration area as compared to conventional porous filter elements.
  • Thermally bonded fibres will not move under pressure or pressure surges and dislodge dirt into the filtrate.
  • Extremely small continuous filaments maximise controlled porosity and complex tortuous paths.
  • Particles are trapped throughout the entire cross section of the filter, creating superior dirt holding capacity.
  • No fibre contamination with the filtrate.
  • Maximum chemical resistant material.

Chemicals, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals and refining, prefiltration for reverse osmosis, process water, food & beverages, cooling coils, vegetable oils, electroplating solutions, printing inks, polymer solutions, electronic industry fluids, etc.

2. Sterile Membrane Filters

Kumar's exclusive range of pleated sterile Filters are made of either hydrophobic PTFE, PES membranes suitable for non polar solutions, or hydrophilic Nylon 66 for water and polar solutions down to 0.1 micron. They serve a wide spectrum of applications including process water, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electronic fluids, photographic solutions, food & beverages, cosmetics, etc.

3. Sintered Stainless Steel Filters.

Kumar metallic filters offer particle retention upto 0.5 microns with higher solids capacity and strength. These are permanent filters with easy backwashability.

  • Suitable for high pressure and temperature applications.
  • Regeneration possible with 100% removal of captured solids, by resorting to specified regenerartion guidelines.
  • Fully welded construction. No filtrate bypass.
  • Totally closed operation and Backwashing. No operator exposure to the products.
  • Reduced downtime. Blowdown or backwash can be completed within a short time.

Kumar Ultrafine Metallic filters are used as prefilters for gases and liquids. Ideal for 100% catalyst recovery and similar applications.
