Filter Housings
Kumar
Process offers a complete range of single and multiple cartridge housings
to cater to a wide range of applications in liquid gas filtration. The
standard range comprises of metallic housings in SS 316, Carbon Steel,
lined and coated type, as well as non-metallic version for corrosive fluids.
Most filter housings are custom designed for unique application to meet
a wide range of operating parameters with respect to flow, temperature,
pressure and piping orientation. These are available in single cartridge
design as well as multi-cartridge design to handle large flow rates. They
are suitable to adopt filter element of standard length like 10”, 20”,
30” (even 40”), having end configuration like DOE, Code 7, Code 3 etc.
to suit all international designs. Filter housings come with all internal
surface buffed to 180 grit whereas electropolished surface to 240 grit
is offered for sanitary design. Standard end connections are BSPF threaded
type upto 1” and ASA 150 flanges for higher sizes. Other connections like
tri-clover, BS flanges, dairy couplings etc. are also available. All housings
designed for a working pressure of 5.0 Kg/cm2g as a standard. High pressure
designs for ratings upto 100 Kg/cm2g are also offered.

Series PP Non Metallic Housings
Designed with economy of filtration in mind, these impact
resistant filter housings offer excellent chemical compatibility to a
wide range of corrosive fluids. Available in polypropylene with threaded
bowl design for single cartridge and flanged body design for multi cartridge
types. Transparent polycarbonate single cartridge housings are available
for domestic filtration.
Filter housings are suitable for operating temperature
upto 70 deg C and pressure of 5 Kg/Cm2. For high pressure and temperature
applications involving corrosive fluids, MS/SS filters lined with PVDF,
PTFE are available .
